Richard will join the cast of Man in the Ring, a new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cristofer.
Man in the Ring is directed by Tony nominated Michael Greif and Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cristofer. Performances will take place at the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston.
began dancing at the age of six training with the Northeast Ballet Company, the resident ballet company of Proctors Theater in Schenectady, NY. After dancing as an apprentice for a number of years, he was accepted as a company member. While dancing and training in school, Richard worked in technical theater as lighting designer for various organizations in New York’s Capital region such as Cohoes Music Hall, Schenectady Light Opera Co., Siena College, and Niskayuna School District.
After training at the University at Buffalo BFA Musical Theater program, Richard made his way to Asia to perform with the International Tour of GREASE, the musical. Since then, he has been performing in various productions in New York City and on tour. Productions including; ZORBA!, R&H’s CINDERELLA, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and THE PAJAMA GAME. Richard has also served as Asst. Resident Choreographer for the USA & Brazil company of BILLY ELLIOT.
Richard continues as Assistant Artistic Director for Northeast Ballet Company and holds a Bachelors degree from Empire State College in Business Economics and Arts Management. He recently served as the Associate Stage Director for the NBCUniversal Upfront. Richard also performed as Dance Captain / Choreography Supervisor for Steve Martin and Edie Brickell’s New Musical “BRIGHT STAR” on Broadway & 1st National Tour.
