Richard will join the cast of Man in the Ring, a new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cristofer.
Man in the Ring is directed by Tony nominated Michael Greif and Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cristofer. Performances will take place at the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston.
Richard is a seasoned professional who has dedicated his career to creating and developing entertainment programs that captivate audiences around the globe.
His journey in the entertainment industry began in the theatrical world, where he brought Broadway shows to life from New York City to countries across the globe, from Asia to South America. With over fifteen years of experience in the entertainment industry, Richard has worked on numerous live events across different mediums, offering his services to some
of the biggest and most renowned clients, including NBCUniversal, Activision Blizzard, and Disney Branded Television.
Richard specializes in large-scale live creative direction and is highly skilled in managing creative ideas and developing events. He possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in staging, direction, lighting, scenic rendering, pyrotechnics, deck creation, event documentation, and more. His exceptional versatility in various aspects of the live events industry has earned him the reputation of being a jack-of-all-trades.
Richard has worked with numerous high-profile presenters and performers such as Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Reba McEntire, Jennifer Lopez, Hugh Jackman, Steve Martin, Nick Jonas, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Luis Fonsi, Grace Potter, Jimmy Fallon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Brie Larson, Tim Allen, Michelle Yeoh, and more.
began dancing at the age of six training with the Northeast Ballet Company, the resident ballet company of Proctors Theater in Schenectady, NY. After dancing as an apprentice for a number of years, he was accepted as a company member. While dancing and training in school, Richard worked in technical theater as lighting designer for various organizations in New York’s Capital region such as Cohoes Music Hall, Schenectady Light Opera Co., Siena College, and Niskayuna School District.
After training at the University at Buffalo BFA Musical Theater program, Richard made his way to Asia to perform with the International Tour of GREASE, the musical. Since then, he has been performing in various productions in New York City and on tour. Productions including; ZORBA!, R&H’s CINDERELLA, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and THE PAJAMA GAME. Richard has also served as Asst. Resident Choreographer for the USA & Brazil company of BILLY ELLIOT.
Richard continues as Assistant Artistic Director for Northeast Ballet Company and holds a Bachelors degree from Empire State College in Business Economics and Arts Management. He recently served as the Associate Stage Director for the NBCUniversal Upfront. Richard also performed as Dance Captain / Choreography Supervisor for Steve Martin and Edie Brickell’s New Musical “BRIGHT STAR” on Broadway & 1st National Tour.
